Chapter 3.4

Business email

Your business's @hoanit.com address: what it's for, reading it in HoanIt, and webmail.

Every business on HoanIt gets its own email address, based on the business name. For example, "Chuppe Health" gets chuppehealth@hoanit.com. It's set up automatically when the business is created.

What it's for

  • It's the sign-in for your shared kiosk tablet.
  • Password setup and reset emails for the kiosk login arrive there, so you can always recover the tablet.
  • You can use it as a shared training inbox for your team.

Your first two emails

As soon as the address is created, two emails arrive in it:

  1. Welcome to your HoanIt inbox explains the address and how to set up the kiosk. If you can read it, your inbox is working.
  2. Set your kiosk password has a link to choose the password for the kiosk tablet login. The link expires after 24 hours.

Reading it in HoanIt

Owners and Team Leaders open Business Email in the sidebar to read the inbox inside HoanIt, with no separate login. The address and an Open inbox link also appear under Team → Kiosk access.

The inbox in HoanIt is read-only. Attachments are listed by name.

Settings → Business email

  • Re-send welcome & kiosk password emails: use this if the kiosk link expired or you want to set a new tablet password.
  • Get webmail password (owners only, optional): only needed if you want to send email or open attachments in the full mail client at inbox.purelymail.com. The password is shown once, and getting a new one replaces the old one.

If it says "not set up yet"

Click Create business email (or Retry) in Settings → Business email or on the Business Email page. If it still fails, use Report an issue on the dashboard.
