HoanIt has a built-in connector (an MCP server) so AI assistants like Claude can work with your HoanIt account directly — drafting a whole training program, inviting your team, or pulling a progress report, all from a chat.
Connecting
- In your AI assistant, add a custom connector with the URL
https://www.hoanit.com/api/mcp. - Sign in with your normal HoanIt account when prompted. The assistant acts as you — it can only see and change what your account can.
- Ask the assistant to run hoanit_tutorial. It returns a guide tailored to your role.
What it can do
- Learners: list your assigned trainings, check progress and past scores, read notifications, accept invitations.
- Owners & Team Leaders: create journeys, lessons, reading modules, quizzes and AI role plays; manage customer characters; invite and manage team members; read analytics, billing and settings; post announcements; check the business email address.
Limits
- Graded quizzes and live AI role-play conversations happen in the browser. The assistant can build them and read results, but learners take them on hoanit.com.
- Kiosk PINs are set in the app (Team → Kiosk access), not through the assistant.
- Deleting content, removing members and resetting progress can't be undone — a good assistant will confirm with you first.
