Chapter 2.2

Quizzes and AI role plays

How quizzes are scored and how to get the most out of an AI role-play conversation.

Quizzes

Quizzes check what you learned in a lesson. Answer each question and submit. You'll see your score when you finish, and your manager can see it in Reports.

AI role plays

A role play is a practice conversation with an AI playing a customer, caller or coworker. You type (or speak, where available) the way you would on the job. It's a safe place to practice difficult conversations before they happen for real.

Some role plays include a customer folder — background on the person you're talking to, like a front-desk screen would show. Use it the way you would at work.

Communication Coach feedback

When you finish, you get coaching feedback built around a simple framework: Connect → Understand → Guide → Purpose → Own → Close. It's a way of thinking about a conversation, not a script to memorize. Your feedback includes:

  • A score and performance level
  • What went well
  • Your biggest opportunity
  • Something to try next time
  • An example of how a top performer might have handled it

Your business may require a minimum role-play score to complete the module. If you don't reach it, read the feedback and try again.

Tips

  • Respond naturally — the coach rewards real connection and ownership, not keywords.
  • Close the loop: make sure the "customer" knows what happens next.
